He said that Lebanese Nights/Layali Lubnan is a three-layer dessert and if anyone wants to cook it at home, the ingredients are: 1- 4 cups of Milk. 2- 1/2 Cup of Crystal Sugar 3- 1 Cup Coarse Semolina 4- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream 5- 2 tablespoons of rose water. 6- 2 grains of crushed mastic. 7- A cup of syrup for decoration. 8- Half a cup of crushed pistachios, for garnish. How to prepare it?: Heat the milk, semolina, sugar, mastic, and two tablespoons of rose water in a Saucepan Stir the ingredients together over medium heat until the ingredients come to a boil and the mixture becomes thick in texture. Then leave it until it cools down and put the layer of the heavy whipping cream on it and then put it in the fridge until it cools. Leave the dessert in the refrigerator until it cools and the cream becomes firm for two hours. Serve with rose flavored sugar syrup drizzled over. Sprinkle chopped pistachios and sprinkle on top of the dessert.
